過去の出来事について謝る表現
Aには名詞もしくは動名詞(doing)
Sorry for the inconvenience.
「迷惑かけてごめんね」
Sorry for being late.
「遅れてごめんね」
Sorry to do 「Aはごめんね」
今していること、今から起こることについて謝る表現
Sorry to do, but… の表現が一般的
「doするのはごめん」のようなニュアンスで使う
Sorry to bother you, but do you have a minute now?
「邪魔してごめんね。今時間ある？」
Sorry to say, but I can’t agree with you..
「ごめんなんだけど、賛成できないな」

sorry for / sorry to の使い分けは『いつのことについて謝罪をするのか』のよって判断します。
sorry for A = 過去
sorry to A = 今、未来
